We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our L&D team. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic thinker with expertise in designing and developing engaging learning materials. The Instructional Designer will work closely with our Learning & Development Specialist / Facilitator to build and enhance our training programs, ensuring that our teams receive impactful and relevant learning experiences. While the primary focus is on instructional design, this role may also occasionally facilitate sessions to support our team as needed.

What You’ll be Doing:
  •  Develop and design engaging, high-quality instructional materials, including e-learning courses, presentations, job aids, and instructor-led training content.
  • Create learning modules that are tailored to the specific needs of our debt settlement industry, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and L&D team members to identify training needs, analyze performance gaps, and determine learning objectives.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects from concept through completion, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training materials, updating and refining content as needed to improve learner outcomes.
  • Provide support by facilitating training sessions occasionally, particularly for new or high-priority initiatives, ensuring an engaging and informative learning experience for participants.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, ideally within a corporate or financial services environment. Experience in debt settlement or related industries is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia), LMS platforms, and familiarity with SCORM standards. Knowledge of multimedia editing and graphic design is a plus.
  • Ability to facilitate learning sessions effectively, creating an engaging, inclusive environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate with stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with the LMS platform Absorb
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and analyze the impact of training programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and present complex information in an accessible manner.
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
Salary range: $72,000 - $90,000
