Our mission is to provide  seamless,  efficient,  and  accessible  lending  solutions.  We  are now seeking a Director of Learning & Development in Irvine, CA. The  Director of Learning & Development  will lead and manage both  our  Training  and  L&D teams. This is a strategic and hands-on  leadership  role, overseeing the creation,  delivery,  and continuous  improvement  of  all  training  programs  across the organization.  

The  ideal  candidate will be an experienced  leader with a strong  understanding of debt settlement, proven  success in training  and  facilitation, and expertise in  earning and development strategy,  instructional design, and LMS management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee new hire sales onboarding programs, ensuring high engagement and successful ramp-up.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the training team to maintain consistent delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify skills gaps and design targeted training solutions.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of leadership, compliance, and sales performance programs.
  • Ensure training content is current, accurate, and aligned with compliance requirements in debt settlement.
  • Manage the company’s LMS, ensuring ease of access, tracking, and reporting.
  • Analyze training effectiveness using performance data and feedback; adjust programs accordingly.
  • Partner with other departments to support career development, internal mobility, and succession planning.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in training, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • 3+ years in Learning & Development.
  • Direct experience in the debt settlement industry (required).
  • Proven ability to design and deliver training programs for sales and operations teams.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Experience managing and implementing LMS platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to measure and demonstrate training ROI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, HR, or related field preferred.
