As a Software Developer I – Marketing & Technology, you’ll learn how to design, test, and maintain front-end and back-end features using Node.js, ReactJS, and AWS services. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with HubSpot field definitions and workflows, working alongside Marketing and Data teams to keep our growth engine running smoothly.

This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is eager to learn full-stack development in a fast-paced MarTech environment. You’ll work on small, well-defined tasks with mentorship from senior developers while developing your skills in AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and HubSpot automation.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Build and maintain small-scale ReactJS components and Node.js services under guidance.
  • Assist in developing and testing AWS Lambda functions and DynamoDB queries for lead-processing workflows.
  • Support HubSpot administration by configuring fields, properties, and basic workflows.
  • Debug and resolve minor issues in front-end applications and backend integrations.
  • Write clean, maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Document processes, features, and workflows for internal use.
  • Participate in code reviews to learn from peers and improve technical skills.
  • Technical Foundations: Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Web Development: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and ReactJS fundamentals.
  • Backend Development: Introductory experience with Node.js and Express.js.
  • Cloud & APIs: Exposure to AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway) and REST APIs.
  • CRM Familiarity: Willingness to learn HubSpot (field management, workflows, integrations).
  • Collaboration: Strong interest in working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Data, Sales).
  • Work under the guidance of senior developers to learn best practices in full-stack development.
  • Participate actively in team standups, sprint planning, and change release processes.
  • Take ownership of progressively larger features as skills develop.
  • Develop toward independence in HubSpot automation and AWS integration tasks.

What you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Some experience (1-2 years) with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to AWS cloud services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, CDK).
  • 2-3 years professional experience, with exposure to digital marketing a plus.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM/marketing automation tools.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices.
